OKR

Objectives and Key Results

A way to set goals: a qualitative objective plus measurable results that prove it was reached.

What it is

An OKR has an Objective (where I want to get to, inspiring, qualitative) and 2 to 4 Key Results (how I know I got there, always measurable). Used to align teams around shared goals.

Where else it shows up

📣 Marketing

Sets acquisition/awareness goals in a measurable way, aligned with the company's objective.

Example: Objective: "Make the brand a reference in the segment". Key Result: "Increase organic traffic by 40%".

📊 Data

The data team is often responsible for measuring and reporting progress on other teams' Key Results.

Example: The data team builds the dashboard that tracks another team's churn Key Result weekly.
