Conversion funnel
The stages someone goes through from first learning about something to actually buying or using it.
What it is
The funnel represents the journey in stages (e.g. visited → signed up → bought), and each stage has a conversion rate — how many people move on to the next one. It's used to spot where people are dropping off.

🧩 Product
Used to understand at which onboarding step users abandon the product.
Example: 70% of users create an account, but only 20% complete their first use — the funnel points to the step that needs improving.
🤝 Sales
Represents the stages of a negotiation, from first contact to signed contract.
Example: Out of 100 incoming leads, 10 become meetings and 2 become customers — those rates make up the sales funnel.
